ABOUT GLIG

Good Living is Glam (GLIG) is an award-winning lifestyle blog featuring uniquely original inspiration.  It is a passionate love affair with good health and good taste – a destination for nourishment, design and creativity.

Founded by Gina Kamburowski, GLIG seeks to satisfy the desire to live a healthy, holistic existence without sacrificing the luxurious and glamorous side of life, marrying the best of both worlds.

What started in 2013 as an intimate space for Gina to express her creative ideas and share her personal health, culinary and design inspirations, has evolved into a popular destination for those who appreciate her pure philosophy and modern approach to wellness, design and photography.

ABOUT GINA Gina Kamburowski is the Editor-In-Chief of Good Living is Glam and Founder of Théo Pure Skin Collection, a luxurious, non-toxic skincare line based in NYC.  Developing Théo Pure Skin Collection was a natural extension of the GLIG mission, and started years ago when she worked with the man credited with bringing the Artisanal Movement to New York City, acclaimed chef, Terrance Brennan.  It was there she learned firsthand the authenticity and process of handcrafting genuine artisanal products, and started to explore how feeding the internal relates to nourishing the external.  She was growing concerned about the harsh, mass produced chemicals she applied to her skin, such asbrighteners and creams laced with well-known and documented toxins. So she transferred that knowledge from the culinary industry to her true passion–skincare and beauty–and started to develop her own formulas, partly influenced by her Dominican heritage; experience within the fashion industry; aromatherapy studies; and exploration of Ayurvedic healing.  She became certified in aromatherapy and developed her proprietary formulasbefore launching Théo Pure Skin Collection in 2013.     ___ BACK STORY Holistic skincare was not her original path. Gina has nearly 10 years experience in marketing, public relations and design.  She has worked with tastemakers and leaders in the culinary,  lifestyle, fashion, and architecture industries including the acclaimedchef, Terrance Brennan of Picholine and Artisanal; fashion designers Catherine Malandrino and Alexander McQueen; award-winning architect and interior designer, Antonio di Oronzo of bluarch; and other clients that reflect her personal and professionalpassions. A native of Connecticut, Gina earned her bachelors degree injournalism from Boston University where she also studied Literature, Art History andPhotography.  In 2009, she started photography studio Smith Creative NYC, and her work has been featured in several publications including The New York Times, Interior Design, and Newsday.
